Dear parents,  this week we had a 4 page test in 3rd grade math at the end of Unit 1. Thursday was open house it was very fun. Math is very hard, but I love it. One of my favorite parts of Friday afternoons is when we all pack up our writing materials and migrate to the woods to write letters home. These letters detail some of the things we learned this week, or pieces of information that each child found interesting or important. The expectation is that parents will write back to their children and have these letters continue all year. Here are some shots from our time in the woods recently.
